Two DLI ‘Greats’
A number of DLI Friends meet twice per week to voluntarily work with the DLI Collection staff. They assist in numerous ways – researching the history of Collection objects and their original owners, transcribing handwritten diaries, identifying donations, improving historical accounts, helping visitors rediscover their ancestors military history, helping the team who visit schools …… and the list goes on!
Two of those DLI Friends who carried on until they could do no more were Harry Moses who died at the end of January 2021 and Noel Davison who died in December 2022.
They both deserve to be remembered by all connected to the Durham Light Infantry for the outstanding contributions they made in quite different ways.
